The Bioscientifica Trust exists to distribute funds to assist early-career scientists and clinicians in biomedicine and the life sciences to improve research and clinical outcomes for the public benefit by helping to facilitate networking, cooperative research, and other interactions through the provision of small grants.
The Trust is governed by a Board of Trustees.
Applications for the next round of grants opened on 1 May and will close on 31 August 2022.
Applications must be made using our simple application form; a condition of a grant award is that a short evaluation form is completed and submitted to the Trustees at the conclusion of the funded activity.
The Bioscientifica Trust was initiated by Bioscientifica Limited, a provider of publishing, event organization, and association management services to the global scholarly community, with the support of several of its clients. The Trust receives funds from Bioscientifica but is a wholly independent entity with separate governance.
The Bioscientifica Trust is a charity with the registered charity number 1175434.
