Aims

To investigate the effect of T3 on mammary mitochondrial and cytosolic pathways involved in lipid synthesis

Specific Objectives:

1. Conduct untargeted metabolomics to evaluate metabolites influenced by T3 within the mammary cell cytosolic and mitochondrial compartments.
2. Use isotopic tracers to measure T3-mediated metabolite flux in cytosolic and mitochondrial pathways involved in fatty acid biosynthesis.
